In Memoriam: Donald B. Day

Donald B. Day, 82, departed this life on July 24, 2010. Mr. Day moved to Lake Worth in 1956 from Mendham, NJ

Mr. Day was a Veteran of the US Navy, member of the Mendham Fire Department from 1949 – 1959, a 50 year member of the Gulf Stream Masonic Lodge No. 245, 33rd degree Scottish Rite Valley of Lake Worth, Amara Shrine, Flying Fez’s, Lake Worth Chapter #111 Order of the Eastern Star and a pilot with the Quiet Birdmen.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty B. Day and son, Raymond C. Day; daughter, Diane D. Potter; son-in-law, Byron M. Potter and two grandsons, Cameron D. Potter and Marshall B. Potter. Also surviving is his sister, Betty Frost. Memorial Service will be held at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 2000 No. D Street, Lake Worth on Saturday, July 31 at 4 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
