Around 7:00 p.m. on March 23, 2009 the Mendham Fire Department was called to a reported house fire on Queens Court in the Brookside section of Mendham Township.
First arriving units were met with heavy fire conditions throughout the entire structure. Cold weather combined with high winds sent this fire into high gear. Crews fought for many hours utilizing two ladder trucks and multiple hand-lines bringing the inferno to an end.
In all there were over ten different fire companies called to the scene including (but not limited too) Mendham Township, Mendham (Borough), Chester, Fairmount, Randolph, Morristown and Morris Township. No injuries were reported at the scene.
