Mendham Firefighters to Run in 2017 Tunnel to Towers 5k

On September 24, 2017, a group of Mendham Fire Department members, lead by Lt. Gary Lynch will run in the Tunnel to Towers 5k. While the event continues to grow as each year passes, the goal of the fundraiser remains the same; to not only support first responders and military injured in the line of duty, but also to honor them for their sacrifice to their country.

The Tunnel to Towers event was created in memory of Stephen Siller, a Brooklyn firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001 trying to rescue people inside the World Trade Center. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues to honor the 343 fallen firefighters, as well as those veterans that have paid the ultimate price in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If you cannot donate, they ask that you share their fundraising thinks with your friends and family; we have prepared sharing buttons for their fundraising page.
