Mendham Firefighters to Run in 2015 Tunnel to Towers 5k

On September 27, 2015 Mendham Firefighters Luke Englehardt, Andrew Cascais, Gary Lynch and Chief Christopher Nelson will run in the Tunnel to Towers 5k. While the event continues to grow as each year passes, the goal of the fundraiser remains the same; to not only support first responders and military injured in the line of duty, but also to honor them for their sacrifice to their country.

The Tunnel to Towers event was created in memory of Stephen Siller, a Brooklyn firefighter who died on Sept. 11, 2001 trying to rescue people inside the World Trade Center. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues to honor the 343 fallen firefighters, as well as those veterans that have paid the ultimate price in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If you cannot donate, they ask that you share thier funraising thinks with your friends and family; we have prepared sharing buttons for thier fundraising page.
