Today, the Mendham Fire Department proudly serves over 4,900 people living in the Borough of Mendham—a municipality located in Morris County, New Jersey. We operate out of one station that protects a primarily residential area of about six square miles.
The Mendham Fire Department is made up of the Mendham Hose Company—formed in 1905 and the Mendham Independent Hook & Ladder Company—formed in 1913. We have an ISO rating of 5/9 and respond to an average of 200 calls each year. Our Station identification number is 14180 (Station 18).
Your support is a strong signal that you value the service of our volunteers, and the significant tax savings of a volunteer department. We appreciate any donation you can make to help our department.
Donations are tax deductible and the Fire Department is eligible for corporate matching gifts through “Mendham Independent Hook & Ladder Co.”
Since its inception in 1905, Mendham Fire Department membership has always been, and still is, comprised completely of volunteers from the local area.
Civic-minded residents with a drive to go the extra distance when the alarm rings out have joined the roster and proudly become one of Mendham’s bravest.
