Frederick E. Watkins, Jr., 83 years old of Wall, NJ died Wednesday August 24, 2016 at home. He was born in Morristown, NJ and lived in Fort Myers, FL before moving to Wall.
Mr. Watkins proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War, was member of VFW Post 1838 in Manasquan and the Mendham Fire Department from 1961 – 1986.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years Mary Jane nee Horton Watkins in 2005 and a brother Charles in 2008.
He is survived by two sons Scott of Wall and Brett and his wife Kathleen of PA. He also leaves 4 grandchildren David, Stephanie, Jessica, &Timothy and two great grandchildren Christian & Nicolas.
Johnson McGinley Funeral Home 2652 Highway 138, Wall, NJ in charge of the funeral arrangements. Interment to be at the William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery, NJ.
